Alpine Lake Resort is situated in Terra Alta in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. Surrounding the resort are picturesque views of the lake below, trees and mountains. In the 1960’s, Alpine Lake started as a “mountaintop vacationland”, situated with rolling mountains surrounding a peaceful lake and framed by miles of wilderness. Today, Alpine Lake consists of 2000 acres of wooded land and miles of paved and well kept roads providing for easy access to all the amenities.

There are many locations for beautiful wedding ceremonies from the top of the mountain where the picturesque sparkles in the valley, to lakeside.

There are many locations for a romantic and spacious wedding reception at Alpine Lake Resort. There is a lakeside boat house, ski slope gazebo and a handsome lodge/hotel.

Alpine Lake Resort offers a multitude of amenities including a 150 acre stocked lake offering a variety of freshwater fish, a sandy beach and spacious boathouse which can be used for events, weddings, or cookouts, a large handsome lodge great for ceremonies and events, tennis and basketball courts, a private community, miniature golf, and a 35 room hotel to suit wedding guests.
